The El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office has identified the body of a man found on October 18, 2016, near the site of a Sierra Nevada plane crash as 52 year old Tyrell Kremer of Wilton, California.

On October 18, 2016, at approximately 4:15 PM, the missing aircraft wreckage was located in a rugged area of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, southwest of Lake Schmidell. Personnel also located a deceased male subject outside of the wreckage .  The identity of the decedent is not readily available and will be determined at a later date by the Coroner.

On October 16, 2016, at approximately 8:13 pm, El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call reporting a robbery had just occurred at the Subway restaurant located at 3600 Carson Road in Camino.  Deputies responded to the scene and were told by witnesses that two armed masked men entered the business and demanded cash.  The employee complied with the two suspects’ demands.  The suspects fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money prior to arrival by the responding deputies.

The suspects are described as white male adults approximately 20-30 years of age.  Both suspects are approximately 5’5″ to 5’10” tall with an average build and were last seen wearing all black clothing, gloves, and black ski-type masks. One of the suspects was armed with a black handgun and the other suspect was armed with a silver revolver.
