Deputy Sheriffs, Highway Patrol Officers and Police Officers head out to protect the citizens of El Dorado County. Over 70 law enforcement officers from a dozen agencies have responded to join Sheriff D’Agostini and his Deputies in response to the King Fire.

The El Dorado County Emergency Operations Center (EOC) remains a busy place as numerous agencies work together in support of the battle against the King Fire. Sheriff John D’Agostini and his staff are working hand in hand with the Red Cross, El Dorado County Education Officials, El Dorado County Animal Control, El Dorado County CAO, El Dorado County Board of Supervisors, El Dorado County Health and Human Services, El Dorado County Disaster Council, SMUD, Cal-Fire, CHP, Placerville Police, US Forest Service, Cal-OES and many others. A big thank you goes out to Senator Ted Gaines for stopping by to lend his support to all of those involved in this team effort!
