The man that was threatening suicide today in El Dorado Hills has surrendered to deputies outside his home.
El Dorado Hills Blvd is again open to through traffic.

El Dorado Hills Blvd Closure due to Law Enforcement Action
An El Dorado Hills man threatening suicide has refused to cooperate with Deputies and exit his residence. It has been reported that he has weapons in his residence and has threatened to shoot anyone that approaches his residence. Due to the law enforcement actions taking place in the area, El dorado Hills Blvd is closed at Wilson Boulevard and also at Olsen Lane. Please use alternative routes to avoid this area. We will advise changes as they occur.
EDSO Deputy Sheriff Injured in Auto Accident
On July 04, 2014 at 11:18pm an El Dorado County Sheriff’s patrol vehicle with one EDSO Deputy aboard was involved in a traffic collision with with another vehicle in El Doardo Hills at the intersection of El Dorado Hills Boulevard and US Highway 50.
Multiple patients were evacuated by ground ambulance, none with life threatening injuries. The Deputy Sheriff involved remains hospitalized at this hour in stable condition.
The California Highway Patrol is the conducting the traffic accident investigation.
